It’s been a while since we last updated our list of favourite ASMR YouTubers, and a lot has changed. Some of the artists who defined the genre back in the early days have stepped back, while a new generation has taken ASMR to a scale nobody could have predicted – some channels are now pulling in double-digit millions of subscribers.
So we went back through the numbers, watched a lot of new content, and put together an updated list of the ASMR YouTubers actually leading the space in 2026.
What’s changed in ASMR since our last list
The biggest shift is that ASMR has fully merged with mukbang and eating-sound content, and those hybrid channels now dwarf the traditional whisper-and-tapping channels in raw subscriber numbers. The other shift is behind the scenes: the ASMR YouTubers who are still growing treat every video as a designed experience rather than a random collection of triggers. Consistent pacing, curated sound selection and a predictable upload rhythm are what keep an audience coming back night after night for their sleep routine.
The biggest ASMR YouTubers right now
1. Hongyu ASMR (홍유)
With well over 16 million subscribers, Hongyu ASMR currently tops the charts. The channel blends mukbang-style eating sounds with more traditional close-mic triggers, and the production quality is part of what sets it apart – crisp, high-detail audio that translates perfectly through headphones.

2. Zach Choi ASMR
Zach Choi has built one of the largest ASMR-adjacent channels on the platform, with over 32 million subscribers. The format is simple and instantly recognisable: no talking, no intros, just satisfying eating sounds shot in extreme close-up. It’s a great entry point if you’re new to ASMR and not sure whether whisper-heavy content is for you.

3. Eat with Boki
Sitting at over 11 million subscribers, Eat with Boki has become one of the most consistent names in the mukbang-ASMR crossover space, known for a relaxed, unhurried pace that a lot of long-time ASMR fans specifically look for.

4. Gibi ASMR
Gibi remains one of the most versatile ASMR YouTubers in the space, with over 5 million subscribers built on cosplay roleplay, an enormous range of trigger types, and genuinely creative video concepts. If you want variety rather than one repeated format, Gibi’s channel is still one of the best places to start.

How to find your own favourite ASMR YouTubers
Subscriber counts are a useful starting point, but ASMR is deeply personal – a trigger that gives one person full-body tingles can do absolutely nothing for someone else. If you’re just getting started, we’d recommend sampling a few videos from each creator above with headphones on and paying attention to which type of trigger actually works for you before committing to a channel.
And if none of the big names above click for you, that’s completely normal – check out our guide on what ASMR tingles actually are and our breakdown of the benefits of ASMR to figure out what you’re actually looking for.
